Essential oil for the sauna
The reason you use pure essential oil is because if you dose it correctly, the pure scents are more beneficial than infusion because you simply need less. But then you have to use the correct dosage for each scent. A disadvantage is that dosing takes more time and knowledge of the product. So pay attention to the quantities indicated on the bottles. This is why we use odor strengths for all scents, with odor strength 2 being the lowest and odor strength 6 being the highest.
An explanation about essential oil or while sauna oil
Essential oils are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people want to get back to nature. They are the natural protectors of the plant and have been used for human well-being for many years. They are volatile oils, which evaporate when exposed to the air. They are also often used as sauna oil.
What exactly is it?
An essential oil is a concentrated oil extracted from plants or plant substances such as wood, herbs, citrus, flowers, resin and spices. These often have a special effect.
Different varieties of essential oil are Tea Tree oil, Eucalyptus oil, Orange oil and Bergamot oil. Fragrances that are often used as sauna oil in the sauna are: Eucalyptus oil, Lavender oil, Lemon oil, Orange oil, Peppermint oil and Pine oil.

Effect of Eucalyptus oil
Eucalyptus oil was used as food for Koala bears from Australia. Which is not surprising, because most of Australia is densely covered with Eucalyptus trees. The oil is distilled from freshly picked leaves and only then becomes so concentrated that it can be used as real Eucalyptus oil. There are several eucalyptus oils available on the market, but we offer the Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil from China. Eucalyptus oil promotes concentration and is the sauna scent.
Apply with ice balls and sauna oil
Essential oils or sauna oils are often used in the sauna when poured with ice balls. With ice balls, use a bowl in which the ice ball lies so that the smell does not go down through the ice ball. Unless it ends up in the water that you want to pour into it.
Pour with water and sauna oil
In addition to ice balls, essential oils can also be added to the water in the sauna bucket. The sauna oil will float on top of the water in the sauna bucket. It is therefore important that the water with the sauna oil in it is thoroughly stirred before it is poured onto the sauna heater. Immediately after stirring you can spoon the mixture onto the stove. It is also possible to scoop into the sauna bucket from below with the sauna spoon. Then you always have plenty of water and the right amount of scent in your sauna spoon when you pour the mixture onto the sauna heater.
