Scent Mint oil

Mint essential oil has a fresh, sharp, slightly sweet, minty scent.
Mint oil is also called Mint oil or Chinese Mint oil.
The smell and effect are largely determined by the menthol in the mint oil.
The menthol content in the Mint oil should be around 45 percent.
Essential Mint oil is slightly less sweet than Peppermint oil.

Operation

The fresh and slightly sharp scent has a stimulating effect on the brain.
The essential oil wakes up, invigorates and has a strong uplifting effect.
Mint helps you concentrate better by sending energy to the head and brain.
This makes this oil also suitable at school while studying or at work.
Mint is good to use on oily skin. This oil relieves itching and has a soothing effect.
The oil provides relief for respiratory problems and many asthmatics find inhaling it pleasant.

What is the essential oil used for?

100% pure essential Mint oil is important for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
Mint oil is used in candies, drinks, chewing gum, shampoo, cleaning products, toothpaste and mouthwashes.
Because the scent has a fairly dominant overtone, mint oil is hardly used in the perfume industry.

Usage

  • In the sauna: add 24 drops to an ice ball or to the water in the sauna tub
  • In an aroma burner: add 2 to 4 drops to the water in an aroma burner
  • On an aromastone: add 2 to 4 drops to the stone of the aromastone
  • In a diffuser: add 2 to 4 drops to the water in the diffuser
  • In a massage oil: add a maximum of 25 drops of Mint oil to 250 ml of Sweet Almond oil for a natural, refreshing massage oil.
  • For steaming: add a maximum of 1 to 4 drops to boiling water and steam with a towel over the head
  • In the steam room: add 2 to 4 drops of essential oil to a sponge and place it in a stainless steel bowl under the steam pipe
  • In the bath: use our Me Time bath oil for mint in the bath, otherwise mint essential oil will float on the water.
    Use 25 ml of this bath oil in the summer for the refreshing effect.
  • Apply some Mint oil diluted in Sweet Almond oil to the temples and forehead to combat tension headaches.

Warnings

  • Do not take the essential oil neat or use it neat on the skin.
  • Do not use in case of constipation and diarrhea.
  • On sensitive or damaged skin, use no more than 1 to 2 drops diluted in 100 ml of sweet almond oil.
  • Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Mint oil mixes well with

The essential oil mixes well with citrus scents, lavandin, eucalyptus, pine, lemongrass and peppermint oil.

Winning

The mint plant is a member of the lip flower family and grows in most of North America, Europe and Asian countries such as China, India and Japan.
Other mint species cross easily with each other, creating many hybrids and cultivars. Field mint is a very well-known type of mint.
The Mentha Arvensis is a green plant that grows up to 45 cm high and is often extracted by means of steam distillation in China or Japan.
1 liter of Mint oil requires 50 to 100 kilos of Mentha Arvensis plant material.
Mint oil has a transparent to light green color.

About the bottles

The 5 ml and 20 ml brown glass bottles contain a dropper and a child-friendly cap and the 100 ml brown glass bottles contain a pipette.
The 500 ml bottle, the liter bottle, the 5 and the 10 liter can are used as refill packaging.
