  The pulse and pause time can be set from 15, 60 to 120 seconds.
  At 120 seconds the pause time is 60 seconds.
  At 60 seconds the pause time is 120 seconds.
  At 15 seconds the pause time is 165 seconds.
  The fragrance diffuser can be set for 1, 2 or 3 hours.

The air freshener will work without a cord when charged, but it works best when connected to a cord.
