Natural Essential Oil

Use essential oil in aromatherapy, with an aroma burner or aroma stone or with fragrance sticks for a wonderful scent in the living room. Essential Oil is also called Essential oil. Essential oils are natural.

Buy Pure Essential Oil (essential oil / aromatic oil).

Essential oil is the essence or life force of a plant. They have powerful properties from herbs, seeds, plants, bark, leaves and flowers from which they are extracted.

Sometimes an essential oil is distilled from different parts of a plant. For example, you have Neroli oil which is distilled from orange blossoms and orange oil which is distilled from the peel of the orange.

All oils are natural, undiluted or adulterated and comply with the European Pharmacopoeia and are suitable for aromatherapy.

steam distillation of essential oils process

An explanation about essential oil

Essential oil is becoming increasingly popular as more and more people want to get back to nature.
Essential oil is extracted through steam distillation.
Essential oil is the natural protector of the plant and has been used for human well-being for many years.
An essential oil is therefore a volatile oil, which evaporates when exposed to the air.
The word essential comes from the English Essential oil and is therefore often called essential oil.

Most variants are liquid, but there are also semi- and completely solid variants.
Since scarcity, purchasing and extraction of essential oils can vary, prices are not fixed.

The price depends on the climate, world conditions and the different essential oils.
For example, Bergamot oil is much more expensive than Eucalyptus oil. Below we explain why.

Rose oil, Chamomile oil, Patchouli oil, Lemon oil, Lavender oil, what are the costs?

Rose essential oil is extracted from rose petals, for example.
The costs of rose oil (essential) are much higher than Patchouli oil or Lavender oil because a rose petal contains relatively little essential oil.
For 300 ml of Rose oil (Rosa Damascena oil) 1000 kg of rose petals are used.

For example, to distill lavender oil (1 liter) (Lavandula Angustifolia Herb oil), approximately 150 kilos of lavender blossom plants are required.

Lemon oil is obtained by pressing lemon peels.
Lemon peels contain relatively more essential oil than lavender blossoms or rose petals, which makes lemon oil also cheaper than lavender oil and rose oil.

Different forms of Essential Oil

Pure essential oils are usually liquid, but can also be solid or semi-solid.
This depends on the temperature and the species. They can be dissolved in pure alcohol, fats and oils, but not in water.

What exactly is a pure essential oil?

A pure essential oil is a concentrated oil extracted by steam distillation, cold pressing or extraction from aromatic plants or plant substances such as wood, herbs, plants, citrus, flowers, resin and spices. Essential oils from medicinal plants are also called essential oils.

The essential oil is extracted from leaves, seeds, flowers, bark and citrus peels in the country of origin. Quite a few oils such as Rosemary, Orange, Lemon, Bergamot and Oregano come from the Mediterranean region. But many oils also come from China, America, Japan, Australia, etc.

Different types of essential oils come from different areas and countries.
For example, Lemon oil comes from Italy, Patchouli oil from Indonesia and Lavender oil from France.

Because essential oil floats on the water in a decanting vessel, the bottom layer in this vessel is used as floral water and the essential oil is tapped from the top layer.
All essential oils have their own wonderful scents and special effects.

It often does not matter whether you use organic essential oil or natural essential oil, because they both come from nature. We choose to only supply natural essential oils since organic oil is often the same natural oil with an organic certificate. So it makes no difference to the smell and effect of the essential oil. This works, for example, with Eucalyptus oil. In our opinion, this makes the oil unnecessarily expensive.

Different varieties of essential oils are Tea Tree oil, Eucalyptus oil, Orange oil, Cedar oil, Basil oil, Sandalwood oil and Bergamot oil.

Would you like to know more about when it is a real essential oil and how you can recognize this?
Then read our blog: What are essential oils?
You can easily buy natural essential oil in the webshop.

Fragrance strengths of pure fragrances

The different fragrance strengths are shown for each product.
Some pure scents are stronger in themselves than other pure scents.
Odor strength 2 is the least strong, odor strength 6 is the strongest.
For example, a more expensive scent with a higher odor strength can be cheaper to use than an affordable scent with a lower odor strength.

The effect of different oils

- Lavender essential oil from the lavender plant works well against insomnia
- Orange essential oil makes people happy
- Eucalyptus essential oil is soothing for colds
- Tea Tree essential oil products are used for its antibacterial effect
- Mandarin essential oil works well against anxiety and stress in children
- Peppermint essential oil has a cooling, refreshing, calming and concentration-boosting effect
- Essential pine oil has a purifying effect and is also used against sweaty feet

Effect of Essential Tea Tree oil

This essential oil can be used against a wide variety of ailments.
Essential Tea Tree oil is often used against bacteria, fungi and viruses.
This essential oil can be mixed well with Lavender oil.
The essential oil is antiseptic and has many different uses.

Tea Tree has a camphoraceous scent and works well against acne and fungal nail infections.
Mix 10 drops of oil with a neutral shampoo to combat head lice.

Mix 10 drops of oil with a base oil and spray it on your nails to strengthen them and combat fungal nails.
To combat fungal nails, use 100 ml of base oil and add 5 drops of Tea Tree and 5 drops of Lavender oil or use Tea Tree Lavender Argan oil.
This mixture is completely natural and also smells wonderful.
This facial oil with Argan oil can also be used to prevent acne and nourish the skin.

Eucalyptus leaves for steam distillation

Effect of Essential Eucalyptus oil

Essential oil from the Eucalyptus tree was used as food for Koala bears from Australia.
Which is not surprising, because most of Australia is densely covered with Eucalyptus trees.
The oil is distilled from freshly picked leaves of the tree and only then becomes so concentrated that it can be used as real Eucalyptus oil.

Eucalyptus is often used in rooms to freshen the room and improve the breathing and concentration of the people in the room.
That is why Eucalyptus oil, in addition to the fact that this scent is often used in the sauna, is also used in schools and business premises.

Eucalyptus oil is the number 1 oil for fighting colds.
Steam over a bowl of hot water and add a few drops of oil to this water.
Place a towel over your head and steam in this way for as long as it feels comfortable.
Due to the properties of the volatile essential oil, the cold will disappear a lot faster.

Eucalyptus oil can also be used in aroma diffusers, aroma burners or on aroma stones for a wonderful scent in any desired room.

Use Essential Oil in Aromatherapy

Essential oil should never be used neat on the skin.
Intake is only allowed on doctor's advice.

20 drops of essential oil = 1 ml of essential oil

This is used in the following ways:

  • to pour on in the sauna
  • in an aroma diffuser
Turn the essential oil bottle under the diffuser to get a wonderful scent in a specific room.

After this, the composite oil can be applied directly to the skin.

Essential oil in the sauna

Essential Oil Sauna

Essential oil can be used in the sauna to pour on for a wonderful scent in the sauna.
Use 4 to 30 drops of essential oil in the sauna tub with water or in an ice ball for a wonderful scent during the infusion session.

Benefits of infusing with pure essential oil

Because the fragrance products are not diluted, you can optimally experience the natural scent in the sauna.
The scent emerges a little later, but lingers a little longer in the sauna cabin.
Essential oil mixes can also be used in the sauna during infusions.
Hamam mix is the most popular scent of the mixes.
We have a wide range of natural essential oils, so there is a lot of choice to create a beautiful infusion.

Tip

Only use essential oil in the sauna if you count drops and do not pour a dash of oil onto an ice ball or into the sauna bucket with water.
When pouring essential oil, look carefully at the fragrance strengths and fragrance notes.

Fragrance strengths

Preferably start with a low scent strength and end with a higher scent strength to be able to smell all the scents properly during the sauna session.

Fragrance notes

Preferably start with an overtone, then use a midtone and finish with an undertone.
Or use Lemongrass, Pine or Orange oil to neutralize the odor in the sauna.

Do not apply product directly to the heater or to the skin

Do not use essential oil directly on the stove or directly on the skin.
If you stir the essential oil into the water in the sauna tub, it is no longer a fire hazard when scooped from the bottom of the sauna bucket when the mixture is poured onto the sauna heater.

Do not pour from the sauna bucket

Do not pour from the sauna bucket, because then the essential oil will reach the sauna heater first instead of the water. Or it may be that the sauna bucket only contains water. A watering can can be used instead of a sauna bucket.

Pour onto the sauna heater on dry parts and in lanes to better distribute the scent in the cabin and to keep the elements of the sauna heater intact for longer.

Use ice and water separately when pouring

It works best by putting the essential oils in containers with an ice ball in them. Place the ice balls on the stove and then pour water that does not contain any odor around it.
