Fragrance Dill oil
The Latin name of Dill oil is Anethum Graveolens. Dill is often used as a culinary herb with eggs, fish and potatoes. The scent of dill oil is sweet and spicy. The scent is somewhat close to Mint.
What is the essential oil used for?
This essential oil is used as an overtone in spicy perfumes.
Use dill oil
- In the sauna: add 24 drops to an ice ball or to the water in the sauna tub
- In an aroma burner: add 2 to 4 drops to the water in an aroma burner
- On an aromastone: add 2 to 4 drops to the stone of the aromastone
- In a diffuser: add 2 to 4 drops to the water in the diffuser
- For steaming: add a maximum of 1 to 4 drops to boiling water and steam with a towel over the head
- In the steam room: add 2 to 4 drops of essential oil to a sponge and place it in a stainless steel bowl under the steam pipe
- In a massage oil: add a maximum of 10 drops of Dill oil to 100 ml of Sweet Almond oil.
Warnings
- Do not take the essential oil neat or use it neat on the skin.
- Do not use this essential oil on babies or children.
Dill oil mixes well with
Dill oil can be combined well with Citrus, Frankincense and Mint oils.
The Dill herb and the extraction of the essential oil
About 25 kilos of dill herb are needed for 1 liter of dill essential oil. The color of the essential oil is light green. The oil is extracted in America through steam distillation of the Dill herb.

The 100 ml brown glass bottles contain a pipette.
